‘Fire of Love’ vertelt het explosieve liefdesverhaal van Franse vulkanologen Katia en Maurice Krafft, die evenveel van elkaar houden als van de vulkanen die ze samen bestuderen. Een romantische, maar ook tragische ontdekkingstocht via spectaculaire en nooit eerder gemaakte beelden van adembenemende vulkaangebieden.

Regisseur Sara Dosa maakte eerder de docu ‘The Sheer and the Unseen’ over de mythologie van IJslandse vulkaanlandschappen en waagt zich met ‘Fire of Love’ aan het noodlottig liefdesverhaal van twee vulkanologen.
