Na het oplossen van de grootste zaak in de geschiedenis van Zootropolis lijken kersverse agenten Judy Hopps en Nick Wilde een sterk team. Maar wanneer politiechef Bogo hen opdraagt deel te nemen aan het Partners in Crisis-begeleidingsprogramma, komen Judy en Nick erachter dat hun partnerschap toch niet zo stabiel is als ze dachten. Al snel wordt hun teamwork op de proef wordt gesteld wanneer ze terechtkomen in een ingewikkeld mysterie dat verband houdt met de komst van een giftige slang naar Zootropolis.

‘Zootropolis 2’ is een hilarisch en hartverwarmend avontuur voor het hele gezin. De film zit boordevol actie, schattigheid en charme, en weet op een slimme manier een doordachte boodschap te combineren met fantastisch entertainment. Misschien wel nog beter dan de schitterende eerste ‘Zootropolis’ (2016)!

Een tripje naar de grote stad is in deze film meer dan de moeite waard.
