Op een avond ontmoet Aymeric per toeval zijn ex-collega Florence in Saint-Claude in de Jura. Ze is 6 maanden zwanger en alleen. Als Jim wordt geboren, is Aymeric erbij. Samen beleven ze enkele mooie jaren, tot op de dag dat Christophe, de natuurlijke vader van Jim, terug opduikt.

Het zou het begin kunnen zijn van en oversentimenteel melodrama, maar het is ook het begin van een odyssee naar het vaderschap. Kan ware onbaatzuchtige liefde beloond worden?
