‘The Iron Claw’ is gebaseerd op het waargebeurde verhaal over de opkomst en de ondergang van de bekende worstelaarsfamilie Von Erich. Onder leiding van het bewind van vader Fritz bestormen de onafscheidelijke broers Kerry, Kevin, Mike en David de wereldtop van het show-worstelen in de jaren tachtig.
